Yuka Okkotsu is the granddaughter of Yuta Okkotsu and Maki Zenin, and the younger twin sister of Tsurugi Okkotsu. A student sorcerer attached to Jujutsu High, she carries the inherited Ten Shadows Technique — a technique so coveted it was historically used to determine the head of the Zenin clan. Despite being restricted by the Gojo clan from summoning most of her shikigami, Yuka compensates by channeling their abilities directly, a feat previously associated only with Ryomen Sukuna. She is also secretly dying of a malignant brain tumor, a fact she hides from nearly everyone including her own brother.
Yuka's terminal diagnosis reframes her arc entirely: her recklessness is not bravado but urgency, her fearlessness not temperament but the particular calm of someone who has already made peace with a shortened life. Her midnight confession to Maru — the one person she trusts to hold the secret without crumbling — marks the emotional turning point of the series. Her request to duel Dabura Karaba in the second arc is driven by the hope, however slim, that the clash of techniques might alter something at the cellular level. By the final chapter, her prognosis has shifted in ways the doctors cannot explain, suggesting the Ritual of Harmony may have done more than alter the population's cursed energy production.
An inherited technique of the Zenin clan that allows the user to summon powerful shikigami through shadow manipulation. Yuka was restricted by the Gojo clan from fully summoning most shikigami, but compensates by channeling their powers directly into her attacks — a technique-level feat previously only seen from Sukuna. Her ultimate permitted summon is Mahoraga, reserved only for the direst circumstances.
Yuka's signature close-combat style that mimics the maws of a wolf, using the Ten Shadows Technique to strike with tremendous force through beast-like clawed nails.
Using the Ten Shadows Technique, Yuka can hide within the shadows of others — including her own summons — making herself untargetable while directing her shikigami toward an opponent.
