An unauthorized Simurian — Osuki — enters the Tokyo exclusion zone and triggers a cursed energy surge that destabilizes the area. His actions are a direct challenge to the diplomatic framework Maru and Usami have carefully constructed. Dabura Karaba is forced to publicly restrain his own people to prevent open conflict, a demonstration of power that leaves the assembled jujutsu officials deeply unsettled. Maru confronts Osuki privately, and the fractures within the Simurian delegation become impossible to ignore.
