Kyoko Tomoe

Kyoko Tomoe is a nutritionist working at Jujutsu High who becomes an unexpected symbol of hope for human-Simurian relations. During the cross-cultural exchange event, she is the first person to develop a mutual romantic interest with a Simurian — falling head over heels for Dabura Karaba the moment she lays eyes on him, with the feeling being entirely mutual. Her budding relationship with Dabura is noted by Usami and Jabaloma as genuine evidence that humans and Simurians can coexist. The final chapter implies Dabura has returned to Earth after concluding his business on Simuria. Kyoko's role in Modulo is deceptively significant: she is not a sorcerer, not a diplomat, not a warrior, and her contribution to coexistence is simply being herself with complete conviction.
