Panda

Panda, the mutational cursed corpse created by Principal Yaga, reappears in the final chapter of Modulo in Yuji Itadori's company. He is noticeably in a degraded state — still able to speak, which surprises Nobara — and is brought along by Yuji to ease the awkwardness of their reunion. Panda serves as a reminder of the original series' surviving cast and helps anchor the hopeful tone of Modulo's conclusion. His continued existence, degraded but present and still himself, mirrors the series' broader argument: that what endures does not endure unchanged, but that endurance itself is worth something. His surprise appearance is one of the final chapter's quietest jokes and one of its most affecting images. That Yuji chose to bring him says something about both of them: that 68 years on, the people worth visiting are still the ones who remember where you came from.
