Kazuya Mino

Kazuya Mino is Usami's direct subordinate who frequently accompanies him during the Simurian diplomatic process. He acts as a sounding board for senior officials, often voicing concerns or asking questions that allow higher-ups to explain their reasoning. Despite being relatively low-ranked, he is assigned the impossible task of locating Yuji Itadori, coming face to face with the legendary sorcerer in a moment of dark comedy when he realizes Yuji has been sitting right next to his informant. Mino's role across the series is that of the competent everyman — someone doing a difficult job with limited information, occasionally out of his depth, and managing it with quiet professionalism. His reaction to Yuji is one of the series' funniest panels and one of its most human ones.
